Eulogies Flow for Rob and Michele Reiner as Autopsy Reports Are Sealed.

Over a fortnight after the tragic deaths of renowned film director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community are still paying respects to the couple.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Posting on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he only now felt prepared to express about his personal sorrow.

"Sufficient time has passed that I can now articulate my loss into words," shared Elwes, saying that his initial encounter with Reiner made him fall in love. "When we commenced sharing more moments together I knew this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor shared archival material from the production, adding that he cannot recall "any day without joy".

"This story is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Things that Rob valued immensely. Which is among the many reasons he was the best person to guide it," Elwes expressed.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, stating: "Asserting that they were a great team would be an understatement. My heart still hurts every time I think of you." He finished with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Friend and Collaborator

In a distinct essay, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the protagonist.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked beautifully with everyone, and he understood the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Restricted

Recently, a Los Angeles judge ruled to bar the publication of the Reiners' autopsy reports, after an appeal from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A court order placed a embargo on the files to limit the public release of "all case details, evidence and photographs" connected to the probe.

The coroner's office had previously confirmed their deaths were the consequence of murder, with a official listing noting the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".

Fallout and Commentary

In the wake of the tragedy, public individuals shared divergent comments.

Ex-President Donald Trump commented on the matter, making controversial claims that were met with immediate backlash by several commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his perspective to the critics recently. Talking on his podcast, Rogan labeled the statements as "disappointing" and remarked they showed a concerning absence of compassion.

Rogan finished by proposing that an associate ought to have intervened when the decision to comment on the death was made.
