During the bulk of season 5 of the popular Netflix show, Holly Wheeler and Max are held captive inside a mental fortress constructed from the memories of Vecna. Their quest for a way out in the pivotal sixth episode leads them to relive a life-altering moment from Henry's early years—a discovery that could contain the secret to his downfall for good.

The Discovery in the Mine Shaft
When she finds Max in the psychic realm called Camazotz, it becomes clear she is taking refuge in a cave that Henry is terrified of. A clever observation a telescope pilfered from Henry's old home helps Holly understand that the danger lies beyond the cave. Throughout the play, he battles the influence of a sinister presence, much like how Will was influenced by the Mind Flayer in season 2.
