Trump's Granddaughter Receives Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for significant competition

The rising star has considerable online audience

Kai Trump will have numerous high-profile backers as she starts her LPGA debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a special exemption to play at the Annika tournament in Florida.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates numerous courses worldwide and frequently matches against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she mentioned.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa basically advised me to go out there and relax," she explained.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with world affairs, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has competed in only three events in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.

However she can receive tips from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's an even better human being. He suggested me to compete, relax, following the flow."

She'll challenge multiple most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA commented that her participation exposes the sport to wider groups, specifically reaching youth audiences.

Kai boasts substantial online presence and recently launched her own apparel and wellness label.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
